Lawn Seeding

The process of spreading seed (native to this area) and fertilizer into your soil to promote the growth of grass. We drill the seed into your lawn to ensure it will not wash away. In some cases, on hillsides or areas of direct sun, we lay a protective layer of straw down to shield the seed for it to germinate.

Sod installation

Sod, known as turf, is the upper layer of soil with grass growing onto it. Usually harvested in rolls or large patches. This provides you the ability to have an instant green lawn. We work with local sod farmers to harvest this product and install it onto your lawn.  

Dethatching

This process is removing excess thatch, a layer of dead grass and organic matter, from your lawn that blocks water and nutrients from reaching the soil.

Back sweeping

We use a mechanical broom to remove gravel and rocks from your lawn that are left over from plows during the winter months.

Land Grading and tiling

Lenz Lawn Care provides excavation, grading and contouring services. In addition, we have experience in exterior water drainage such as tiling. We have a variety of specialty equipment designed for all jobs big or small.
